Benefits of Membership
Companionship & Counsel come to those who surround themselves with other believers. Without good counsel we drift and make mistakes.
Protection comes to those who aren’t alone. Ecclesiastes tells us “woe to him who is alone…”. Membership gives you people to go to in time of need.
Productivity. When working alongside others you can do more for the kingdom of God. If one can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand to flight.
Power comes with numbers. A three stranded cord isn’t easily broken.
Godly Influences. Good character is contagious just as bad character is. Expose your young children and family to Godly living from a young age and make it natural. When they get old, they won’t depart from it.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 ESV
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
